Transit of Kuja in Karkataka Rasi

The transit of Kuja in Karkataka Rasi will be probably the longest one in this year. It will be in Karkataka Rasi for nearly 233 days ie., 7 months and 21 days. The transit of Kuja in Karkataka Rasi should not be under estimated as Kuja transits its debilitation sign and becomes retrograde in the Rasi. The passage of Kuja in Karkataka Rasi started on October 5, 2009 and will be over by May 26, 2010. Kuja is the planet of wars; its transit will constantly initiate tension among the people. The tendency for aggression, demonstration, shooting, vandalism and oppression will increase. As Kuja rules over male and sexual urges, incidents of sexual abuse, and offense will increase. Kuja in a movable Rasi may let the people react strongly before reasoning. Kuja transiting in Karkataka Rasi, a watery sign and movable sign and it being bhoomi karaka will certainly cause over flow of rivers, landslides and volcanic eruptions.

Kuja will retrograde from December 20, 2009 in Karkataka Rasi in the constellation of Aslesha and sustain its retrogression in Aslesha till January 27, 2010. It will enter in Pushyami in retrogression on January 28, 2010 in Karkataka Rasi. Kuja’s retrogression will be over on March 11, 2010 in Karkataka Rasi.

The world experiences double retrogression of Kuja and Sani. Kuja retrograde on December 20, 2009 and direct March 11, 2010 while Sani retrograde on January 14, 2010 and will be direct on June 1, 2010. During the period between January 14, 2010 and March 11, 2010, more untoward incidents may crop up. Retrogression of Kuja in debilitation will touch all the drekkanas of Karkataka and the second drekkana of Karkataka in full. Kuja itself rules the second drekkana of Karkataka and there is a tendency for strong influence during this period. In the second drekkana is Serpent drekkana and is also covers the constellation Aslesha from where the retrogression began. This is clearly points that the transit of Kuja in Karkataka Rasi, especially in retrogression, emits characteristics that are more venomous. The drekkana depicts courageous and determined women leaders. They may have to face much opposition and suppression politically and there may be attempts to overthrow them or topple the government. They may a need to use martial law in certain countries. Kuja transits the fourth sign of the zodiac which primarily rules the landed and movable property and the usual long presence of Kuja in Karkataka can cause misunderstandings among brothers to obtain wealth, voice of opposition in the Parliament becoming more impressive, diplomatic relations demand revitalization, Catastrophes in Coastal areas, injury in watery sports drowning etc., military events, pirate activities, poisonous gas leakage in mines, possible earth quake as Moon passes the passage between Ketu and Kuja in Mithuna and Karkataka Rasi respectively.

The prolonged transit of Kuja in Karkataka Rasi will be very significant for India at it transits the rasi sign of the Indian Independence chart. Security should be beefed up in domestic transportation as the janma rasi becomes afflicted, frictions with neighboring countries may crop up. Kuja will oppose Ravi in Makara Rasi when the solar ingress into Makara occurs on January 14, 2010. As the solar ingress occurs into the fourth cardinal rasi and Atmakaraka at the time of ingress is Kuja in Karkataka Rasi, being retrograde is a significant point to note.
