Hessonite

Hessonite / Gomeda is the gem ruled by Rahu. It belongs to Grossularite clan. The word Hessonite is derived from Greek word esson that means inferior as these gems are regarded to be less valued. It is a gemstone from garnet family. Magnets which pulls them is the very special phenomenal feature. It has smoky red luster and good quality stone has an orange luster with copper colored sparkle.
