Formerly, the kalyanam of the Lord was being performed on Magha Suddha Ekadasi . But now a days it is celebrated for six days beginning form Vaiskha Suddha Ekadasi The program of rituals that are observed during the festival are as follows:
Vaishakha Suddha Dasmi: Making up Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy as bridegroom. Vigneswara puja, giving vayanams to muthaiduvas, in the night Rama and Sita go out into the village on silver Anjaneya Vahanam to invite devotees of the village and pilgrims from out side to witness Satyanarayana Swamy’s marriage celebrations.
Ekadasi: Flag hosting , bringing mangalasutram, procession of Lord Satyanarayana Swamy on silver Garuda Vahanam and of Sri Rama and Sita on silver Gajavanam, kalyanamahotsavam.
Dwadasi: Prathamahomam in the morning, asthanaseva in the afternoon, procession on Ravana Vahanam in the night.
Triodasi: Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy’s kalyana sadasyam, Sri Rama as sabhapathi, pandithasabha, mahadasirvadam, sabha sathkaram, procession on ponnavahanam in the night.
Chaturdasi: Lord’s viharam in the north of Ratnagiri and return to Ratnagiri, mahanivedana, special veena performance in the presence of the Lord, car festival at night.
Pournima: Chakra teertham and nakabali etc.
Bahula Padyami: Pushpayagamahotsavam, conference or poets and scholars and music party.
The following slokam is used at the temple as dhyanam:
“Namo vangmanasatheetha rupayamitha sakthaye Adimadhyanthahinaya
nirgunaya gunathmane Sarvesha madibhuthaya bhaktha namarthinasane"
